The Islamic geometric star is a defining element of Islamic art and architecture, forming a visual language shaped by repetition, symmetry, and continuity. Rooted in the concept of unity, such patterns have long been used as structures for contemplation rather than decoration.
In this immersive installation, Digital Arts Lab explores the evolution of the Islamic geometric star through light, repetition, and reflection. Using nur as a generative force, the work creates an infinite spatial environment where form dissolves into rhythm and continuity. By emphasizing process over motif, Infinite Geometries presents geometry as a living system—one that continues to unfold through perception and spatial immersion.
